A sport session is structured so that you and your dog have two to three short training sessions, giving your dog a break in between each. During the break we’ll discuss the last session, what we’ll do in the next and what to focus on afterwards.
We can focus on a single phase or split up the sessions with both obedience and protection.

OBEDIENCE
OBEDIENCE
Competitive obedience differs from pet obedience in the scope of how behaviours are performed. Drives, emotion, speed and precision are important factors that aren’t necessarily considered when working with a pet dog in the real world.
These factors are taken into consideration whether you are just beginning or are an experienced handler and the session is tailored to the level at which you and your dog are currently performing at.
I have been training and competing in the sport of IGP for the past four years. I have been involved with multiple IGP clubs during this time. I have spotted and coached trainers and competitors from beginner handlers to those with years of experience, handling high level, high intensity dogs. Many handlers who I have coached went on to achieve titles on their dogs afterwards.

PROTECTION
PROTECTION
The style of protection I focus on is for sport only and mainly for the sport of IGP. I do not work with personal protection dogs.
I am a certified club level helper with the GSSCC and have been working with handlers and their dogs for the last two years.
I’m am able to build a strong foundation in young and inexperienced dogs, develop trial behaviours for more experienced dogs and get reps in on dogs that are trial ready.
I am happy to problem solve and work with you to clean up behaviours.
